May Angels watch over you...

I''ve got these odd looking jade beads which I have been pondering for a while what to do with them.
Then one fine day (like 2 days ago), I was inspired and I combined them with my super shiny glass beads & here they are ... transformed into little angel earrings!

What do you think? If you like them, they are available in my online shop for purchase:

Thank you & May Angels watch over you ;)

Beach & Starfish

I decided I join some friends down to the beach today. Up really early in the morning & we drove down to Coogee Beach. It was beautiful weather and the water was crystal clear. We also spotted quite a number of starfishes along the beach. I must admit I have not seen so many of them along the beach before. We tried to save some by throwing them back to sea...

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to all!
A time to get together with loved ones, eat, be merry & open presentsss!!!
As a Christian I reflect on the birth of Jesus.
I also thank God for the invention of modern technology such as the video phone, Skype, Facebook & other social media; that family & friends can chat & watch live events in each others' homes if they wish especially those who live far from each other & do not have the privilege to back home to their family.
I thank God for all the gifts & food in abundance I have in this country I live in.
For all of that I am grateful...Merry & Blessed Christmas!

Blogging

I must admit that this "blogging" thing is new to me. So you might find a few hiccups here & there as I familiarise myself with this. It also dawned on me that I need to regularly update my blog with stuff so... mmm...here I go thinking what on earth am I going to write about?

As you may or may not know, as per my disclaimer that I am not perfect in my spelling & occasionally stuff up on my grammar. But I do hope that you the reader will get some sense of what I am trying to say :)

Now back to "blogging", I reakon since I have linked this blog to my jewelry & art creations I should blog a bit about them. Also I might blog about my husband's cooking. He IS a much better cook than me. However, we do take turns cooking which I preferred as to upkeep my cooking skills. I also might blog about events that happened /happening around me and things that I find interesting... So here I go....
till then

Events leading up to my online venture

Hi there

This post signifies the beginning of my online venture with my creative side and the business of helping others.

I have always liked creating & craft work as a child. Art class was one of my favourite subjects in school. I used to make greeting cards & handmade gifts for family & friends when I was growing up & when I can find some precious time as a busy adult! (a rare occasion at this point in time)
After finishing uni, graduating in a subject I'm not too sure I liked but "they say" 'You will have a secure, high paying job, not like of a poor artist's. Anyway, I ended up making & selling my craft work to support myself, while waiting to get a break into my secure, high paying job!

Well... I did eventually get a job (not really the highest paying one.) So, after two major career changes and several jobs later I found one which I like & at the same time could hopefully provide for my future little family. Now, for the record... I am grateful that I did go through my education path, for all its worth, I would not be here doing this now if I haven't gone through what I've gone through but that is another story.....

Anyway, after several jobs later, I find myself still wanting to create, so my creative adventures began...
and led me to this online venture...

This online venture combines my love for creating beautiful unique pieces of art & giving back to an organisation that have helped me during my times of uncertainty & had helped me emotionally, financially & spiritually.

Have a blessed & beautiful day!
